Project: Maryland Route 108 Improvements at Trotter Road, Howard County, MD for MDSHA
Tuhin Basu & Associates, Inc. provided engineering services for the design and preparation of construction
plans for the improvements of MD Route 108 at Trotter Road. The sight distance for the vehicles approaching the
existing intersection was inadequate. Roadway improvements included raising the vertical profiles of MD Route
108 and Trotter Road, and minor modifications to the MD 108 / Trotter Road intersection. TBA is responsible for
the final design and preparation of construction plans, traffic control plans, sequence of construction plans,
signing and pavement marking plans, erosion and sediment control plans, drainage and storm water management
design, permit applications, quantities and cost estimates, and special provisions.
